We are urgently looking for trainees to do a work placement for at least six months at the AMD European Technical Support Centre in the United Kingdom. Students will be provided with accommodation and a monthly salary of approximately 810 euros after tax. The starting date for the work placement would be mid December / beginning of January.

The work will consist of technical support over the phone and via email for end customers and members of our marketing Programmes, specifically assisting them in the set-up and configuration of computer systems based on our Sempron, Athlon XP, Athlon 64 and Opteron product range. Additionally you will provide marketing assistance and registration support for our European Reseller Program.

We are looking for a student with fluency (written and spoken) in English, Spanish and French and who is a computer literate or likes to become one. Additional skills in either German or Italian would be an advantage.
